LETTER Saccone won’t be a rubber stamp for Trump

I recently read a letter in which Mr. Stillwell voiced his concerns against the GOP tax bill and said if voters don’t support the Democratic candidate in the March 13 special election, they will end up with the Republican candidate Rick Saccone, who will be a rubber stamp for President Trump.

Let me assure you Mr. Stillwell that Rick Saccone is not, nor will he ever be a rubber stamp for anyone. While Rick supports the president’s legislative agenda, he has never been afraid to be an independent voice. During his tenure in the Pennsylvania House, Rick has developed a reputation for speaking his mind and voting his conscience. He is a veteran who served more than 20 years in the United States Air Force, working primarily in counter-intelligence operations, and he also has a PhD in international affairs. He is an expert in counterterrorism who served his country in North Korea and Iraq, and a seasoned public servant who will continue to serve in bipartisan fashion.

Rick knows the unique challenges our country is facing, and he is prepared to defend our interests starting on day one. Can his opponent say the same?
