Not a hippopotamus
Did you ever hear the joke, “How do you you sculpture a hippopotamus out of a block of clay?”
The answer? Just remove everything that doesn’t look like a hippopotamus.
That has me thinking about the possible sale of the Washington County Health Center, and sculpting it into a single core concern that the county commissioners should be asked to elaborate upon.
In essence, by selling the Washington County Health Center to a private entity, wouldn’t the commissioners be indicating that they feel that funds for the health center whould be better spent on items other than assuring an accessible, high-quality and affordable care option for our aging population?
