Some quotations to ponder
My mother subscribes to your newspaper and I almost always go to the page showing the weather and I read the new quotation.
A lot of your quotations are very obscure. Most of the time I’ll scratch my head and say, “What the heck does that mean?”
So may I suggest a few quotations?
“There is no better exercise for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up,” by John Holmes.
“Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?”, by Abraham Lincoln.
“Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there,” by Will Rogers.
“Press on. Obstacles seldom are the same size tomorrow as they are today,” by Robert Schuller.
“You cannot do a kindness too soon for you never know how soon it will be too late,” by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
“A lack of play should be treated like malnutrition: It’s a health risk to your body and mind,” by Stuart Brown, psychiatrist.
“You cannot be really first-rate at your work if your work is all
>you are,” by Anna Quindlen, author.
