Obama made America irrelevant

This is in response to Gerald Weiss’ letter, “Making America Irrelevant,” in the June 11 edition of the Observer-Reporter. We have Barack Obama to thank for making American irrelevant in the world.
Immediately after he was inaugurated in 2009, he went on his “apology” tour, apologizing for America taking our place as a world leader. He then proceeded to weaken America and cause us to lose the respect of Russia, China and North Korea. That is the reason that Russia is rearing its ugly head and trying to take over as a world leader when they were pretty much irrelevant.
President Trump’s first trip abroad showed strength and power, and that we are once again becoming a world leader and very relevant on the world’s stage. He followed up that trip by pulling out of the Paris accord, which was only going to hurt America.
Obama signed the Paris accord without presenting it to Congress. It has already cost us $1 billion and would cost us billions more while China and India would continue to be able to pollute the world for another eight years. He also signed a deal with Iran that gives the country a path to developing an atomic bomb. He better pray that when they do, they don’t use it on us. Hopefully Trump will renegotiate the deal so that won’t be able to happen.
