Fed up with teachers, administrators
On my way out of my property tax appeal hearing in Washington, an older couple was sitting there with sadness in their eyes, and they said, “We can’t afford this.”
My question to the Observer-Reporter and its readers is this: When are we going to stand up to the obvious charade of assessments and millage increases?
I have a sign in my front yard. In big, bold letters, it reads as follows: “I am fed up and angry with the arrogant, condescending and self-righteous attitudes of teachers, administrators, politicians and union workers who feel they have the right to rob and steal from hard-working and retired residents in order to support what they feel their lifestyle should be.”
That pretty much says all that needs to be said. When are responsible adults going to address this problem?
