LETTER What will have to be cut?

An Associated Press article in the Feb. 2 Observer-Reporter about the tax overhaul recently approved by Congress says that Wayne Love, who works in managed care in Florida, received $200 more in his paycheck recently. Also, Julia Ketchum, a school secretary in Lancaster, received $1.50 a week, and Todd Anderson, a Texas teacher and his wife, who is also a teacher, received $200 each. This seems to be quite a spread, but certainly welcomed by each of them.

There is also information in another source that the Congressional Budget Office estimates there will be a loss of revenue between $10 billion and $15 billion each month for our government to fund programs. This will surely impact the national debt. What programs will have to be cut?
