LETTER North Franklin vote is being undermined
I am writing regarding the recent article in the Observer-Reporter about the appointment of Martha Ward as manager of North Franklin Township.
I don’t know Supervisors Silvio Passalacqua or Ron Junko personally, but feel they are respected in the community and hope they are doing what is in the best interest of the community. Bob Sabot won the most recent election over Ward to become the third supervisor in North Franklin, and the vote of the residents should be accepted as the final decision.
The supervisors were voted to those offices to manage the township, and they should work together for the good of our community. It appears the vote of North Franklin residents is being undermined by the bogus position being given to Ward at the expense of taxpayers.
This will only cause conflict and an unhealthy environment for the supervisors. They will be making decisions based on personal agendas, and not in the best interests of North Franklin residents.
