Post-holiday fireworks were too much

This goes out to the person who, on Saturday, July 7, began setting off fireworks mid-morning and continued off and on throughout the day into the evening in Houston. I have two animals who were freaked out all day long every time they heard a loud noise, and there was plenty of that. And I’m sure I wasn’t the only one with pets who was freaked out.

Yes, we live in a free country, and now fireworks are legal. But I also have the right to have some peace three days after the Fourth of July and for my animals not to be scared and freaked out every time they heard a loud bang. So much to the point they almost didn’t do their business when I took them outslde early evening, and they wouldn’t eat their treats. So to the person responsible, thank you. Your courtesy is greatly appreciated. I love the Fourth of July, but three days after the fact is over the top.
