It’s amazing what intense pressure can do, especially coming from one’s own political party.

After siding with Russia, President Trump has now flip-flopped by saying that he accepts U.S. intelligence claim that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election. But it remains to be seen whether Trump’s 180-degree turn will change his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Although my hunch is “Nyet!” Trump is merely saying what he knows the people want to hear.
