The United States of America has always been quick to criticize other countries for their cruel and inhumane treatment. But the tables have now turned.

Under the direction of President Donald Trump, immigrant families trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border are being subjected to cruel, vicious and inhumane treatment. And even though it doesn’t fall under the category of physical torture, it is emotionally traumatizing for both children and their parents to be separated from one another.

In the meantime, the increasing rates of suicide have been in the forefront of the news. No doubt, these fragmented families feel helpless, hopeless and depressed – all contributing factors which can lead to suicide. Is this Trump’s way of making America great again?
