The whole story on the Trump tax cut

The article by David Ball articulated how pleased various workers in Western PA are with the additional money in their paychecks due to the tax cut. Did he ask if they felt President Trump kept his campaign promise that most of the cut would benefit lower income workers and very little benefit to higher income workers? Did he ask if they thought the tax cut might impact infrastructure improvement, Medicare, Medicaid, school funding, veterans benefits, etc., as well as increase the deficit? Do those things matter?

Perhaps workers can understand the small contractors who worked on Trump’s casinos who received one-third of the money owed them and a bond that would be paid within 10 years in a bankruptcy settlement. The contractors were probably happy Trump was able to keep his yacht, his luxurious lifestyle and was able to give his wife a certified check for $10 million to end his marriage while the wife-to-be sported a large diamond ring. Some of these contractors went out of business.

Another way to view it.
