In reference to the Aug. 31 article, “Nonbelievers win suit over Pa. House prayer policy,” it seems odd that an atheist would want to give an invocation. According to Webster’s dictionary, an invocation is “the act of calling on God for blessing, help, inspiration and support.” If an atheist believes there is no God, who or what is he calling upon?
