LETTER: Republicans should follow Amash’s example

As President Donald Trump chides Rep. John Amash with one of his Oscar-winning diatribes, as “one of the dumbest & most disloyal men in Congress” – I would say that Amash is a winner – not a loser, for getting out from under the Trump reign. If more Republicans would defect from the Grand Old Party, Trump wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.
