When Donald Trump’s bizarre, but revealing, claim that he had “total control” of the states’ timing during this emergency failed, he attempted to look like a leader by calling the states – who had already formed their regional plans – together to “coordinate” their plans. This reminds me of when I “order” my cat to do whatever she wants.
