LETTER: We shouldn’t take the postal service for granted

The U.S. Postal Service. We just take it for granted.

But 2020 was different. The postal service became the most important factor in our democracy. President Trump made a decision that mail-in ballots could cost him the presidency. So, in an effort to prevent that, he decided to hamper or delay mail delivery.

What happened next is historic — every ballot was delivered!

Hats off to postal employees. Their efforts were all in the name of democracy.
