Why do we need chief of staff?

I totally agree with the Jan. 9 letter to the editor from Judy Kramer. As a senior struggling with already high taxes, I question why we need a chief of staff at a $95,000 salary. Is this a sign of things to come now that we have more Republican commissioners in office now? I can’t wait to see what’s next.
