In response to the Feb. 28 letter to the editor from Dave Ball, chairman of the Washington County Republican Party: John Durham distanced himself from the reports in conservative media that a motion he filed implied Hillary Clinton’s campaign paid to spy on Trump White House servers. That is why you don’t hear anything about it. Just another big lie spun by conspiracy conservative media.

Durham disavowed these stories way back on Feb. 18. Where has Ball been?
