Republican Party has become a Trump cult
It saddens me as I read comments of how members of a once-great Republican Party have been drawn into Donald Trump’s personality cult.
I cannot understand how anyone can support a man who is a convicted felon, who cheated on all three wives, is known as a sex offender, a pathological liar who told in excess of 30,000 lies in his term as president and continues those same lies today.
Keep in mind, Trump is not respected by our European allies and, in fact, they think he is a fool. He has cheated people who worked for him, denigrated our military, cheated on his taxes, and has vowed, if elected again, to terminate the Constitution.
Trump did not lower our taxes, he did not get our roads repaired or our bridges rebuilt. Trump did not get us health care coverage or lower the cost of prescriptions drugs, or even decrease the deficit. In fact, he actually dramatically increased it
He also did not end the opioid crisis, revive the coal industry, or make COVID-19 disappear. He did not make Mexico “pay for a wall,” he did not put “America first” and he sure as heck did not “drain the swamp.”
Is this the type of man who should hold the highest office in America? I think not.
Wake up America, before it’s too late.
