LETTER: Enough is enough
On Nov. 5, voters delivered a landslide victory for Donald Trump. They delivered the House, Senate, and the Oval Office to Trump and the Republican Party by a large margin.
I hope now the Observer-Reporter will do us a favor by sparing us the writings of Oren Spiegler. He has been at it since Trump announced he was running for president in 2015.
My hope is that this new administration can get term limits approved for the House and Senate so we wouldn’t have 80 year-olds from both parties running Congress. If members of the House can’t make a difference after eight or 10 years, and those in the Senate after 12 years, it’s time to move up or get on with their lives. Our Founding Fathers never intended Congress to be anyone’s whole career.
