Biden is a divider, not a uniter
In response to Oren Spiegler’s Wednesday letter, “Trump is a divider, not a uniter,” I won’t defend divisive comments the former president has made. However, let me count some of the ways that President Biden has divided our nation.
I only need to look at the polls to see how he has divided our nation over the once-secure border he opened to drug cartels, murderers, rapists, and other unvetted lawbreakers, some from terrorist nations that hate the U.S. I have listened to his divisive rhetoric and noted his executive actions on race, gender, college debt, and his Department of Justice’s unequal application of laws.
Biden has continued the national transformation that former President Obama pledged to bring about. And that ugly transformation has divided us more, not less.
Let’s not label Trump a divider without acknowledging that Biden has only divided us more.
