Democrats only concerned with power

2 min read

My only response to Richard Kauffman’s July 18 letter, “Is power the greatest concern?”, is that power is the only concern of the Democratic Party.

“Democracy,” a word mentioned in neither the Declaration of Independence nor in the Constitution, has been so radically redefined by the Democrats that I do not even recognize the word anymore. But an eight-year, 24/7 propaganda blitz from their PR machine, aided and abetted by social and legacy media, would have you believe that Donald Trump and his cult of Neanderthal MAGA-ites is an “existential threat” to it.

Just a few examples of democracy in action, as practiced by the Democrats, should suffice to highlight the real threat to “the power of the people to freely elect their governmental representatives.”

Out of 27 Democratic presidential candidates in 2020, Kamala Harris couldn’t get over 3% or 4% in the polls and was one of the first candidates to drop out, even before the first primary. Democratic voters were saying that they did not want her anywhere near the Oval Office.

U.S. Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren were leading Joe Biden, a distant third, when U.S. Rep. James Clyburn of South Carolina stepped up right before Super Tuesday, blew his Pavlovian whistle, and called all the lemmings to the edge of the cliff. The party elite picked the winner.

Out of 330 million Americans, Biden picked the diversity, equity and inclusion candidate that the people already said through their votes they didn’t want.

Just a few more examples of Democrats’ lust for power: Phony investigations, spying on political opponents; lying to FISA courts, to Congress, and to the American public; sham impeachments; and overall destruction of faith in our institutions.

The entire leadership of the Democratic Party has been lying to the American public, covering up President Biden’s physical and mental decline. The people could see it, but we were ridiculed as “conspiracy theorists.” The debate ended all doubt, as his mental capacity could no longer be credibly denied.

When I was forced to take my mother’s and brother’s car keys away from them, I had no ‘lust for power’ or down-ballot considerations – just love and concern.
