Praising Hannibal Lecter
Why does Donald Trump keep singing the praises of Dr. Hannibal Lecter, the fictional cannibalistic character from the 1991 thriller “Silence of the Lambs”?
He also referred to him as dead, although the character lives through the film and its sequel, and the actor who portrayed him, Anthony Hopkins, is thankfully still with us.
Is Trump aware that Dr. Lecter is a notorious serial killer? However, if he were told so, he’d likely ask “He kills cereal? I’m fine with that, as long as he doesn’t touch my tremendous MAGA Flakes and their equally tremendous ear patches.”
