A large number of I-70 accidents
There have been an absurd number of tractor-trailer/tanker accidents along I-70 in North Franklin Township.
This is not a dangerous stretch of road, so with no feedback from the Pennsylvania State Police, we are left to assume drivers are at fault. The most recent was last Sunday, once again near the Chestnut Street exit.
Something needs to change, as at least one of these accidents caused extensive environmental damage to both soil and water. It is only a matter of time before innocent people get killed unless changes are made such as more drug testing to drivers or restricting hours driven.
