Stop the childishness
I am a 26-year retired employee of Washington County and have worked directly with several boards of commissioners, both Democrats and Republicans. I have never seen such a politically motivated and blatant travesty as the recent decision to not support a Local Share Account request for the City Mission’s 50-bed women’s shelter.
I pray Washington County residents will continue to pressure the commissioners to reconsider approving Local Share Account money for this essential project that should be spared from political childishness.
