Move beyond bickering and support City Mission
I am discouraged by the ongoing tension in our county regarding the Washington City Mission and the Local Share Account.
So many have felt God’s love and found help and hope through the City Mission. It is truly a lighthouse for our neighbors most in need. Regardless of the ongoing debates and discussions, I would ask you to join me and countless others in donating whatever you are able to City Mission or even volunteering your time.
I believe in Washington City Mission and I believe in the citizens of Washington County. Let’s work together on this and instead of bickering or finding fault about something we can’t control, let’s all do something, however big or small, to help.
City Mission has been sharing the message of Hope since 1941, maybe it is a message we all need to pause and remind ourselves of during this season of Lent.
