How about a hostage exchange?

1 min read

Donald Trump continues to lovingly refer to the imprisoned mischief makers he invited to attack our Capitol on Jan. 6 as “hostages.”

Well, there are such practices as hostage exchanges. It’s common practice in the Middle East, for instance, for Israel to swap Hamas prisoners for their own citizens being held captive.

Surely, then, Trump would have no issue with exchanging himself for, say, 50 or so of his beloved Jan. 6th “hostages.” Having been unjustly jailed for assaulting Capitol police and attempting to overthrow our democracy, their captain would courageously take a prison sentence in exchange for their freedom.

If he couldn’t make the sacrifice, he could again use his bone spurs as an excuse.
