On Jan. 20. 2025, someone will be inaugurated at the Capitol to be the next president of the United States. Who will it be? Will Donald Trump be convicted and incarcerated for some of the crimes he has been accused of, or will he be taking the oath of office?

If Trump wins the election, we may be reverting from a democratic nation to a dictatorship. Remember, Trump has great admiration for Russia’ Vladimir Putin. Confusion and turmoil will follow. It will be payback time – pardons for those “wrongfully” convicted of crimes, particularly those who participated in illegal activities at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

As Nero sat while Rome burned, so did Trump as the Capitol was violently invaded by those who believed the 2020 election was stolen from Trump. He did nothing to control the mob. He could have authorized the use of federal troops. Was this just part of his massive plan to encourage the rioters to do his dirty work? Why did he not walk with them to the Capitol? Possibly because he knew what was going to transpire.
