Donald Trump will become a dictator and our republic will soon come to an end.

Trump’s voters have no understanding of what will happen to them. They will be woefully unhappy and surprised to find that their Medicare, Social Security and VA benefits will be severely reduced or just taken away. Those who voted happily looking for a dictatorship will soon be the ones establishing concentration camps and populating them with people like me.

The courts will not save us. The Supreme Court is stacked with Christian nationalists who will gut the Constitution, especially the First Amendment, and shortly we will live within not only a dictatorship but also a theocracy.

The Atlantic has published an online essay intimating that democracy is not dead and hinting that those of us who did not support Trump can do something about it. The articles did not propose any concrete ideas that we should adopt and whatever any of us do will lead us to imprisonment or execution.

News has recently surfaced that at least 10,000 North Korean troops are assisting Russia with the invasion of Ukraine. Since Trump is friends with the North Korean dictator, we could see North Korean troops shooting people here if members of the U.S. military become squeamish about killing their own countrymen.

By writing this, I am signing my own arrest or execution warrant. So be it. The result of rise of Trump will eventually turn the world into a modern version of the Dark Ages. With modern-day technology in the hands of dictatorial governments, the Inquisition will be totally efficient and will never disappear.
