Project 2025 not representative of the GOP

1 min read

Words have consequences, and the power of the press has shown us how successful they are toward influencing public opinion with their own set of facts.

Gary Stout’s op-ed of Sunday, Aug. 11, “The fallacy of ‘Make America Great Again’,” is just another ongoing example of journalistic misinformation to support his partisan agenda, and continue to influence the uninformed. I would cite his statements and examples of the contents of The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 as being directly representative of the GOP’s policy if they win the 2024 election.

Stout further concludes with his summary that “each voter must weigh the state of our nation under a Democratic administration, and Trump’s plan as set out in Project 2025.”

The GOP has clearly disavowed any connection or alliance to Project 2025, and Stout might well refer to the GOP Agenda 47, and project2025.org/truth, for a more balanced overview.
