LETTER: The heart of the matter
Now that the federal government has seen fit to cut children’s meals at school, I have some questions for Donald Trump and Elon Musk: When was the last time you wondered when you’d get to eat? While your children were having their breakfast, their lunch, their dinner, did you even for a New York minute think about the children you are depriving of the much-needed meal they would have had? And possibly the only thing they may get to eat that day?
Contrary to what you might believe, we are all brothers and sisters. Your children have or never will experience hunger, or sitting in a public school, watching their peers suffering hunger pains. Where, sirs, are your hearts?
Oh, sorry. You have none.
