Bedillion Road in South Franklin Township is like most other quiet rural roads in Washington County.

There is a nice mix of newer and older homes, farms, wooded areas and fields. At any given time, you might see deer, rabbits, turkey, cows, horses, sheep – all part of a perfect rural picture. But over the years some people have decided to make this area their own personal garbage dump. Now you also see abandoned couches, TVs, mattresses, shingles and all types of garbage. And it’s getting worse.

I have no understanding of why some people feel they have the right to decimate an otherwise beautiful country setting with their trash.
