The question that needs to be asked and answered regarding the July 29 op-ed, “Use this column as an email to your senator,” is this: “Does Hamas want the famished people of Gaza” to receive relief supplies?

Much aid already has been contributed which Hamas has either taken for itself or blocked from coming into Gaza. As long as Hamas can allow the world to see photos and videos of famished children, it can drum up sympathy for its cause and hatred of Israel.

I don’t think it’s a matter of simply sending more aid when Hamas remains in power.
