I just checked my investments and on Monday they were down substantially. The market tanked that day in response to tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.

I am scared that if this continues I will lose a lot of my lifelong savings under this administration.

I also am concerned about losing my Social Security payments and Medicare benefits. At 80 years of age, I need these two sources of income to live. The chaos created by the Elon Musk/Donald Trump actions in the past month are horrific. Government is not a business, in spite of what some think. The mission of business is to make money. The mission of government is to keep its citizens safe. Two separate objectives.

Let us pray that some of our “leaders” in Congress realize this and put a stop to the dismantling of our government.
