LETTER: President out of control
In the past, we had a few bad presidents. Now we not only have a bad president, we have a dangerous one.
He is out of control because he has so much control and that makes him very dangerous. He obtained all of this control through name calling, lies, bullying, fear, coercion and intimidation. He used these tactics to control Congress and judges.
He now has control of the National Guard and is sending them to places that they are neither needed or wanted. Where were they on Jan. 6? What did he do? He pardoned the insurrectionists.
He is now trying to get unauthorized control of the other armed forces through intimidation and fear. He dishonored them with statements and new regulations. He even said they should deploy them on the citizens of the United States and use them as practice.
He said he would look into freedom of speech. He’s trying to control what we see and who we listen to.
He is rounding up people and either deporting them or putting them in cages without due process.
He says that all news is fake news. He seems to want the news reporting that they have in countries run by tyrants and dictators. No rules, laws or accountability. Just news and lies that they want people to hear.
We have three branches of government to make certain that no one entity gets control. It is not working because of his successful use of coercion and intimidation.
We all know what happens when one man gets total control of lawmakers, judges, people, press and the freedom of speech. Donald Trump has control of them all.
What is more scary and dangerous is he is getting close to gaining unauthorized control of the military.
All he has left to do is dye his hair black and grow a weird little mustache, and history will repeat itself.
