LETTER: Where was the coverage?

Congrats to the estimated 800 participants of the “No Kings Rally” this past Saturday. Thank you all for stepping up.

And thank you, Observer-Reporter, for front page coverage.

But, what stood glaringly out was the complete absence of any of our local broadcasters including WIIC-TV, WTAE, and KDKA. Every one of these very well could have dispatched a newsperson to “little ole Washington.” But they chose reports from Allegheny County, Westmoreland County, Fayette County and the township of McCandless.

Guess they think our little town of Washington isn’t worthy of their reporting.
