War drags on
With all the bluster and bravado coming from the president and his war czar, their furiously epic “excursion,” as Donald Trump called it, seems to be dragging on a bit longer than planned. We just have to wait until Trump has the right feeling “in his bones.” Clearly, he’s not there yet as he refuses to apologize for our wiping out a school of kids just trying to learn about the world.
It’s kind of hard to believe his theory that Iran bombed itself. As I recall, this whole thing started because Trump based his rationale on stopping Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, yet I thought we already took care of that when we bombed the country in 2025. I guess we missed.
War Secretary Pete Hegseth tells us almost daily about our military lethality and that’s reassuring. However, I’m not much impressed with their strategy of ready, fire, aim. That’s sort of like putting the cart before the horse, as my dad used to say. Oh, well, life will get better. I can’t wait for the UFC fight at the White House to celebrate our 250th anniversary and show the world we’re great again.
