2017 Best of the Best Italian Restaurants in Washington and Greene Counties
Nothing beats a hearty plate of homemade spaghetti and meatballs, and it just so happens that our region’s rich history produces plenty of it.
Many of our local Italian restaurants have been staples in their communities for decades. And if you don’t find their pastas appealing, there’s plenty of other tantalizing items on the menu.
But don’t take our word for it.
In 2017, the Observer-Reporter introduced the Best of the Best Awards to celebrate the best businesses, organizations, people and more that the residents of Washington and Greene counties thought deserved the distinction of best in their respective category.
The response from the community and nominees was overwhelming. More than 400,000 votes were captured from 11,000 unique voters, validating the vitality of the communities that comprise the Observer-Reporter’s coverage area.
One of our most popular categories was best Italian. Here’s what our readers came up with.
