2017 Best of the Best Places to Work in Washington and Greene Counties
Working individuals spend almost one-third of their lives at their workplace. The question, ‘what makes an organization a great place to work?’ is a subjective one. While there are many factors that determine whether an individual finds their workplace great, there is a basic understanding that the culture of an organization greatly impacts an employee’s opinion of it.
In 2017, the Observer-Reporter introduced the Best of the Best Awards to celebrate the best businesses, organizations, people and more that the residents of Washington and Greene counties thought deserved the distinction of best in their respective category.
The response from the community and nominees was overwhelming. More than 400,000 votes were captured from 11,000 unique voters, validating the vitality of the communities that comprise the Observer-Reporter’s coverage area.
