Floyd has career game for Duquesne

Former Washington High School standout Jocelyn Floyd had her best game of the season Wednesday afternoon in helping Duquesne University’s women’s basketball team to a 64-38 victory over visiting North Dakota.

Floyd, a senior guard, had game highs of 19 points, nine steals and five assists in only 27 minutes of playing time. Floyd made nine of 13 shots from the field and grabbed five rebounds. The points and steals each are career highs for Floyd.

For the season, Floyd is averaging 7.8 points per game for the Dukes (3-1).
