Lucas Zeller scored from second base on a throwing error in the top of the seventh inning Monday to give Beth-Center a 7-6 victory over host Chartiers-Houston in Section 2-AA. It was the Bucs’ first loss of the season to a WPIAL opponent

The win improves B-C to 2-1 in the section and 2-2 overall. The Bulldogs received a six-hit complete game from freshman pitcher Lane Ziker, who struck out seven.

B-C forged a 4-0 lead after two innings and led 6-2 before C-H (2-1, 4-3) scored four times in the bottom of the sixth to tie the score.
