Baseball: W&J completes sweep of Waynesburg

Kyle McLain scored on a sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning, then added an RBI-triple in the top of the ninth, as Washington & Jefferson won its seventh-straight game, 5-2 over host Waynesburg, in a Presidents’ Athletic Conference game Wednesday.

McLain had three hits for the Presidents (11-1, 15-5). McLain also earned a save in relief of starter Brian O’Neill and reliever Randy Risch.

Waynesburg (2-7, 9-12) was swept for the four consecutive season by W&J.
