Olivia Gray homered and Paige Galentine doubled as Trinity pounded Carrick, 17-0, Wednesday in a three-inning game.

Kaitlyn Campbell allowed just one hit for the Hillers (5-0, 5-0), who took advantage of 10 errors by Carrick (0-4, 0-4).

Alexis Binnie took the loss.

• Winning pitcher Bailey Bennington struck out nine and had three hits, two doubles and a triple, as West Greene handed California a 12-2 loss in a five-inning Section 2-A game.

Emily Stoll also tripled and doubled, driving in three runs. Bennington drove in four.

Tiffany Kent doubled for California (1-5, 1-6).

• Winning pitcher Dana Achile homered as South Park defeated Belle Vernon, 8-3, in a Section 3-AAA game.

Marissa Jones and Katie Isenberg doubled for South Park (4-2, 4-2).

Belle Vernon is 1-4, 2-6.
