Wild Things lose pair to Lake Erie

1 min read

Andrew Davis hit a home run and added a bases-loaded three-run double as Lake Erie took a pair of games from Washington Tuesday, winning 4-2 in the completion of a suspended game and 11-4 in the nightcap.

Leading 3-1 in the top of the third when the suspended game, which orginally was scheduled for Aug. 2, Daniel Bowman homered to give Lake Erie (45-31) a 4-1 lead.

Washington (35-41) tacked on a run in the seventh on a sacrifice fly from Jovan Rosa that scored A.J. Nunziato, who had doubled earlier in the inning.

In the second game, Davis did plenty of damage, driving in four runs, Russell Moldenhauer also homered for Lake Erie, while Rosa and Stewart Ijames hit home runs for Washington.
