C-H fills football open date
The Chartiers-Houston football team finalized plans Wednesday to face Conemaugh Township on Sept. 20, the same week the Bucs were supposed to play Imani Christian.
Imani Christian was forced to back out of its schedule this season because of low numbers.
With Rockwood doing the same in District 5, Conemaugh Township found itself with an open date, and Chartiers-Houston wasted no time.
The game will remain a home game Chartiers-Houston and will start at 7 p.m.
Other newly scheduled games include Monessen at Mountain Ridge High School on Oct. 11 and Fort Cherry hosting Brockway Oct. 18.
