1 min read

California University senior offensive lineman Eric Kush has been selected to play in the East-West Shrine Game Saturday at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Kush is one of five players from NCAA Division II programs invited to play in the East-West Shrine Game, the longest running college all-star football game. Kush becomes only the third Cal standout to participate in the game, joining offensive lineman Rishaw Johnson and wide receiver Thomas Mayo, each playing in last year’s game.

Kush made 32 career starts at left tackle and center. This year, he anchored an offensive line that helped Cal average 33 points, 130.7 rushing yards and 423.5 yards of total offense per game. Kush was an All-PSAC first team selection as a senior .

He is the only player from the PSAC invited to the Shrine Game. He is joined on the East roster by Pitt running back Ray Graham and Penn State linebacker Gerald Hodges.

The game will broadcast live on by NFL Network at 4 p.m.
