Koscheck on UFC 157 card

Waynesburg native Josh Koscheck will face Robbie Lawlor in a welterweight bout on the undercard of UFC 157 Feb. 23 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Koscheck, who owns a 19-6 record in MMA, last fought May 5, 2012, when he lost a split decision to Johny Hendricks. It was his first loss in three fights since falling to Georges St. Pierre in a welterweight championship match Dec. 11, 2010.

Koscheck has been slowed in the past six months by a back injury and will be looking to put his name back among the top welterweight contenders.

Lawlor, a former Strikeforce star, owns an 18-9 record but is also coming off a loss in his most recent fight, a decision to Lorenz Larking, July 14, 2012.
