Crushers cruise past Wild Things
Despite getting three solo home runs, the Washington Wild Things were unable to find another way to score, dropping an 8-3 decision to the Lake Erie Crushers at All Pro Frieght Stadium.
C.J. Beatty, Quincy Lattimore and Mark Samuelson all homered for the Wild Things (30-34), but Andrew Davis drove in four runs for Lake Erie (34-30), which had 15 hits.
Alex Kaminsky picked up the win for Lake Erie, allowing three runs in six innings.
Zach Fleshman allowed four runs, three of which were earned, in just 3 2/3 innings for Washington. Reliever Anthony Collazo gave up four earned runs in just 1 1/3 innings.
