Cal ends season with win
Nick Grissom scored three touchdowns and California University had two returns for touchdowns in a 48-14 rout of Millersville in the season finale for both teams.
Cal ends the year with a 7-4 record and Millersville 1-10.
Grissom scored on runs of one, 10 and four yards for Cal, Jordan Bowman returned a fumble 80 yards for a score and Dewey McDonald returned an interception 26 yards in a 21-point fourth quarter for Cal.
Bowman also had an interception and McDonald a team-high 12 tackles.
James Harris completed 21 of 28 passes for 233 yards for the Vulcans and Cody Nuzzo hit field goals of 36 and 27 yards.
Cal scored the final 24 points of the game.
Ian Sadon rushed for a game-high 187 yards and scored one of Millersville’s two touchdowns on a one-yard run that tied the score, 7-7, after one quarter.
Corey Unger also scored on a 1-yard run.
