South Fayette wins battle of unbeatens

SEWICKLEY – Brett Brumbaugh threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns, all to Justin Watson, as South Fayette whipped Quaker Valley, 49-15, in a battle of unbeaten teams in the Century Conference.

Watson caught five passes for 157 yards, while Conner Beck added five receptions for 61 yards for the Lions (6-0, 6-0).

Grant Fetchett added 146 yards and a touchdown on just eight carries, while J.J. Walker scored twice and Hunter Hays once for South Fayette, which has clinched a playoff spot with the victory.

Trewon Marshall and Amos Luptak scored fourth quarter touchdowns for Quaker Valley (5-1, 5-1).
