South Fayette vs. Steel Valley

Grant Fetchett had 152 yards on 16 carries and scored three second half touchdowns as South Fayette broke open a close game and pulled away for a 42-7 Century Conference win over Steel Valley Friday night.

The Lions (3-0, 3-0) overcame something of an off night from quarterback Brett Brumbaugh, who completed 11 of 24 passes for 150 yards but threw a pair of interceptions and no touchdowns.

J.J. Walker, who led the Lions with 11 total tackles, scored on a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs in the first half to give South Fayette a 14-0 halftime lead. He later added a third touchdown run in the fourth quarter from 15 yards out.

Dane Murray scored on a 72-yard run for Steel Valley (2-1, 2-1).
